
Official Rules
Contest Summary: The 2012 Red Kettle Kick-Off "Boys of Fall" youth football video contest is a chance for fans and supporters of The Salvation Army, Dallas Cowboys and Kenny Chesney to have their youth football (pre-collegiate) highlights videos featured during the nationally televised Dallas Cowboys halftime show on Thanksgiving Day. In addition, participants have an opportunity to win a trip to the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day and on-field passes for the halftime show performance by Kenny Chesney.
Video Requirements:
- Videos must be no longer than 60 seconds in length.
- Video file size can be no larger than 300 MB.
- Videos should feature a highlighted play or moment from a youth (pre-collegiate) football game.
- The video submission form must be completed to include contact information, the name of the highlighted player(s), city/state and team.
Participants can submit their videos online by clicking here starting on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 6:00 PM ET. The Salvation Army will post approved videos to its national YouTube and other social media channels. In order to qualify for the Grand Prize, videos must be submitted by Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 6:00 PM ET.
Finalist videos will be posted to an official voting page at blog.salvationarmyusa.org on Monday, November 12, 2012. The video with the highest number of votes by Friday, November 16, 2012 at 4:00 PM ET will be eligible for the Grand Prize.
The Grand Prize winner will win a trip to Dallas and four tickets to the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game including behind-the-scenes, on-field access to the Kettle Kick Off half-time show. The winning video will be prominently displayed during the game.
Contest Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States residing in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Children and minors must have a parent or legal guardian approve the use of their video and accompany them on the trip to Dallas should they win the Grand Prize.

Please note that by submitting to the contest, you are granting permission to The Salvation Army and Dallas Cowboys to edit and air the footage as the organizations see fit for promotion of the "Boys of Fall" halftime show highlight video.
Grand Prize Package: The prize package includes four game tickets to the November 22, 2012, Thanksgiving Day game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX; four field-level passes to the Kenny Chesney half-time performance; a meet and greet opportunity with Kenny Chesney; one-night hotel stay for up to four persons in a single room with two queen-sized beds; four round-trip coach-class airline tickets (excluding U.S. territories and outlying areas) on a major commercial carrier, subject to seat availability.
Judging: Finalist videos will be posted to an official voting page at blog.salvationarmyusa.org on Monday, November 12, 2012. The video with the highest number of votes by Friday, November 16, 2012 at 4:00 PM ET will be eligible for the Grand Prize.
Notification: Finalist videos will be notified via email on Monday, November 12, 2012. The Grand Prize winner will be notified via email on Friday, November 16, 2012.
Legal Disclaimer: Each participant in the 2012 Red Kettle Kick-Off "Boys of Fall" youth football video contest ("Promotion") agrees to release and hold harmless The Salvation Army, Kenny Chesney, Pro Silver Star, Ltd., Dallas Cowboys Football Club, Ltd, National Football League and its member clubs, Cowboys Stadium, L.P., Legends Hospitality, LLC, the City of Arlington, and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, related entities, affiliates and subsidiaries, and each of their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Promotion, including without limitation, any prize providers (the "Released Parties"), from and against all claims, including but not limited to mechanical errors and other errors, inaccurate, fraudulent, incomplete, late, lost, misdirected entries; or any delays in delivery of prize; or bodily injuries, death, losses or damages of any kind, without limitation, that may arise from or in connection with participant's participation in this Promotion or acceptance, possession or use of the prize(s), or participation in prize-related activities. By participating in this Promotion, the participant agrees and acknowledges to be bound by these official rules and all related terms and conditions, as well as the decisions of The Salvation Army which are final and binding in all respects; to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with the official rules.

Hotel reservations will be made for the Grand Prize winner and prize includes room and applicable taxes. Winner is responsible for any other expenses including, but not limited to phone, Internet, television or other multimedia services, room service, concierge, parking and other hotel amenities.
Winner is responsible for purchasing airline tickets and will be reimbursed by check.

Reimbursement request must include official receipts issued by the airline along with boarding passes. Duplicates will not be accepted. Requests must be received at the address above within 90 days of completion of the trip and will be paid within 90 days of receipt.
The Salvation Army is not responsible for travel delays. The Salvation Army cannot guarantee airline seat availability.
Winner is responsible for securing other travel arrangements including airport and game-day transfer.
The value of the prize package may be considered taxable income by the government and the winner should check with their tax advisor about reporting it.
No other expenses will be paid, except those explicitly listed above.
